I always wanted a bike with enough power and torque to scare me in a straight line, because there are too many uncontrolled variables in curves (wet pine needles, dead animals, diesel fuel, etc). I can't afford more than one bike, so I needed one that could do everything. This one is perfect. I can go fast or slow, drag race, tour, and commute to work on it.

No pics but I have a Triumph Bonneville and just picked up a Ducati Hypermotard thus July.
I'm seeing more and more new riders on large heavy cruisers right out of the MSF. Scary.
