you are most likely correct about the border thing, jim, and as faar as local and canadian laws regarding the keeping of these beautiful big cuties, well, i just won't voice my opinion, for the sake of , just nevermind! i am hoping that perhaps one of the few canadian members might come across this request and just happen to be able to help me out here.
and 'booger man', (i'm not being a prick here!)you are right about "not that you would know" part of your reply, other than that, thanks, but i do not need to be educated by someone who has really no idea. i am looking for these animals because i am very aware of the benefits of keeping them as pets, as i have done so for many years,and know PLENTY about them. i gave my guys away, and because they were all males, they enede up dieing off before me or my friend who took over caring for the toads could find them a lover. so-o....here i am, toadless, and missing my 'warty' buddies! so please, anybody out there reading this, preferably in canada, that has any idea where i can get some Bufo alvirius, please let me know. thanks!
p.s. anyone with the idea that these toads are used by 'drug addicts' for recreation or because they've become addicted, would do well to do some searches on the internet about just what it is all about. any one who has used these toads to try and party, well, they'd be very disappointed, and quite possibly worse. me, i just like the way they look.
