I recently adopted an adult female iguana. On each side of her back, she has a few white, flakey spots. Any ideas on what it could be? Bacterial infection? Dermatitis? My local vet thought it was some simple skin infection that could be cleared up with iodine or some other topical. Anyone here ever see that before? And if so, how did you rid it?
Before you ask, everything else with her is fine. She eats like a pig, is very docile, and has all the housing requirements she needs. To me, it just looks like dried skin...what should I put on it?
I will try to post pics soon, but my digi camera is on the fritz.....
