How long of a move is it? Are you flying or driving? I am moving myself soon and
will be taking all my critters, I plan to drive the car (the b/f will drive the moving
van). I plan to keep my gravid boa in her cage in the backseat, the rest of the boas
will be placed in snake-bags and then placed with similar sized snakes 2-3 per in rubbermaid
tubs which will stack behind the seats and on top of the one cage. I plan to keep the
heater on (as needed) I will have a thermometer in the car so I can check every 20-30 min
and make sure temps are correct. (I'll also be taking 2 fish in the trunk (opened to the cab)
and a dog in the front seat! LOL) I drove from LA to here (6 hours) like this before and
didn't have any problems at all with any of the critters, at that time I had an iguana as
well. I just pulled over every 2-3 hours and checked on everyone. Good luck with your move!
