I love how people...
can't watch their kids. What's the proper etiquette when a kid walks up and smacks you? And then starts trying to grab your drink out of your hand? Kid was like, maybe a year and a half. Now normally I'd do what I do with my daughter and say, "It's not nice to hit people." and "That's not yours, can I have that back please?" but when neither the kid nor the mom speaks a lick of english it kind of leaves me in a muddle as to what to do. And the mom just sits and smiles at you like it's cute, or like I'm supposed to say something, but he wouldn't have understood me if I had. So I just got up and walked back inside, maybe rude, but hey, watch your kid. What would ya'll have done?
