I don't want to sound mean but ..GET THAT HEAT ROCK OUT OF THERE!!!! He Could get severly burned. No animal should be housed with a heatrock. Use a basking lamp and a UVB Flourescent bulb.
Also a 20 Gallon Long is Too small for a 2 year old Beardie. What were the 2 in before you moved them? Everyone I know keeps a pair of adults (male and female) in quite large cages. They Do get very teritorial about space.
