What A Relief (And Easy Solution)
When I first got Zeus, I had him on rat pups. Slowly I moved him up to adult mice which he readily accepted no problem. Then out of nowhere he decided he wasn't interested, and only wanted live. Then two weeks ago he decides he now isn't interested in live either...blahhh
I was concerned it might of been a problem with temperature or husbandry and checked and everything was good to go. It turns out...all he wanted was a change in prey =)
I thought I'd try a small rat out and see how he would respond. So after dethawing and dropping it in the cage I let him be for awhile and came back to him half way done.
Good for some to keep in the back of their head. Guess he just decided he was sick of mice and wanted a larger and more nutritious item =P
