I think we are missing a ton of grey area here.
Charger was 6 feet 29lbs at 7 feet she was 35lbs at 8 feet 40 lbs and at 9 feet 37lbs (yes she lost 3 lbs when we put her in her new cage).
Here is the problem a 6 foot snake can be heavy and stronger than a 6' 10" 300+lb person I know I have a friend that big. Now once you get over 6 feet, rather it be 6' 5", 6' 11", 7' 2" what ever it is just easier to state a 6 foot rule.
No one here knows exactly how big of a snake they will not be able to escape, and finding out is not something we should all attempt. So in my opinion we should all error on the side of caution.
