.. I think you made the right move putting the boa in a smaller enclosure. It's not unusual for a new boa to be reluctant to eat until they settle in. Really small (and young) boas may not want to eat as much as a comparable-sized kingsnake, just as one example.

You should get a thermometer, like a non-contact infra-red gadget, to find out just what temps you're supplying. Otherwise, if it was my snake and it looked to be overall healthy and normal I wouldn't sweat it until it had not eaten in about three weeks.
