Nature has a funny way of adjusting to about anything. Venomoids are created in one of two ways. One, the venom ducts are severed and cauderized. Two, the entire venom gland is removed. I have ran accross many voids and still treat them as hots. I think of it as basically putting a revolver to your head and pulling the trigger because someone told you it was not loaded. Voids (venomoids) have had a history of regaining thier envenomation ability. Additionally, any young produced by voids will be HOT! As for digestion...... touchy subject. But my research has found that there is little to no difference in overall health and longevity of voinds compared to their "armed" counterparts. That is of course assuming that they are being fed Prekilled prey. I do don aggree with voids, just as i dont declaw cats. But that is my opinion. I just feel that those that choose to own a venomoid should do some serious research, know who did the surgery and when, and get authentication. Then, personally, i would try to milk it at least every few months to make sure that the surgery is holding. But, I would not buy one, I would only have one if it was a rescue or confiscated form someones collection.
BTW: This is much more laid back than KS
