Quiet
The electricity in the entire area just went off for about half an hour. I spose it was one of those whatchamacallits, they finally got it fixed.
It was pretty quiet here for that half hour. I have HEPA filters, and birds that chirp, and there is always some kind of sound going on. But the birds were quiet because it was dark, and the only sound was some distant traffic.
It was actually quite nice. It must be like that, living out in the country.
Of course, this being Texas, I'm grateful that the hum of the AC is once again in the background.
