Re: Big Money Peruvian 2.
I have worked with many B.C.C. Locales the last couple decades and " contrast " is exactly what makes Peruvians number one love for me. The most important thing to remember about Peruvians, is that they take longer to come into their own than probably any other B.C.C. It is not rare to see surinames and Guyanas and Brazilians ect. be born and immediately have vivid colorations. Peruvians, however are almost never born with anything other than a grey or silver/gray coloration and will develope their gold or yellow or bronze or combination of the above backgrounds around 3 to 4 yrs of age and sometimes longer. If you get Peruvians from a bloodline that has proven colors and patterns, it is always worth the wait and you never know to what extreme they will go unless you have patience. The ink black markings that allot of Peruvians have, is the main ingredient also for their unreal contrast. Loof at RioBravos post below were my buddy Gus, shows the developement of some of his Pucallpa lines as they get older. He shows a picture of one of his keepers at birth and it is really nothing special to the non-educated eye, but look at the picture of it as an adult and it blows you completely away!! Peruvians are the greatest to me for that and many other reasons.......John J
