HELP, leo not eating or pooping
My sister's one year old leopard gecko has stopped eating for the past week or so. She is kept on reptile carpet, and eats mealworms and sometimes crickets. She has a calcium dish in her tank too. Her temps are 86 on the hot side and mid to upper 70's on the cool side. Lately she hasnt touched her mealworms and has not pooped. She has been very active during the day, which is obviously strange because normally she slept. She doesnt seem any weaker, but her tail is starting to seem thinner. We cannot figure it out, her routine has been the same since she was a hatchling and nothing has changed. We even placed an egg laying container with coco bedding just in case.
My sister is really worried, and doesnt know if she should take her to the vet. We also do not have a good reptile vet in the area so if she doesnt outwardly appear sick and hasnt pooped the vet isnt going to do much and has nothing to test. What should we do? We have been soaking her and trying to get her to eat but she just wont. Any suggestions would be helpful.
