well i got the BURM today
so the kid calls me when im at work telling me he wants to drop that burm off tonight. he keeps going on and on about how nice it is, and how it has never hissed or struck at anyone. im just thinking ok we will see. so he calls me and tells me he is almost here, and i go out side. i see him pull up and get out. immediately i notice something odd. it is a very calm tempered gentle snake. it has to be the oddest looking burm i have ever seen. let me know what you guys think.
the poor snake still had dried skin on him from when he shed a week ago. he was a little weezy. i listened for a respitory infection the way my vet showed me, and he sounded ok. he had him in a tank that was good enough size for him, but the water dish was barely big enough for a hatchling to get into. no hide and he had the UTH inside the cage with the cord coming out of the slide top. and he wonders how it got out twice. the bedding was disgusting. it stank to high heck. it was in there so long it was compacted into a brick. it wasnt what i was expecting to get, but i am glad i got it out of this guys care, and into mine so i can properly take care of it. oh and he was feeding him one small mouse a month.
