hey talon, first off...that snake has a nice pinkish hue to it. How bout you give it to me and I'll take care of it. I've never really seen scale rot on the side of a boa or python before. Mostly on the belly. Actually, every time I had to deal with it, it was on the belly. Might want to bring a vet in. Does it look like the scales in the colored area or dying????? Kind of dry feeling. The rest of the body looks healthy and it would be a big difference in scales. My king had something like this but it affected his entire body. Took a while to get it under control. Did it by any chance get bit by a rat in that area?? I hope you feed dead but some do feed live and I'm not gonna harp on anyone anymore if they do, I'll just state I'm against live feeding.
