i have never seen it look like that. the stuff i saw was usually darker.
either way, it could be. what i would do is go to the vet and see for sure.
soaking or staying in a humid box for a while can do this, but how long was it in there???
i would seperate him from the female. keep him on newspaper and do what wino said with the neosporin- get the regular kind, not the oine with the steriods in it (pain killer one).
check the lil' lady and see if she is ok and monitor the situation.
definitly go to the vet, just in case
