Yes it is. I have had the opportunity of releasing several redtails, a screach owl and these two barn owls. I think it is wonderful to be able to see these birds out in the wild but it is even sweeter to see them heading back out when released.

My boss had never heard a barn owl scream until I went to get the female out of the box. She cut loose and poeple in the next county could probably hear her. My boss said it was a wicked sound.
I think the barn owls are the most birds graceful in flight. It was awesome to watch them soar through the trees.
