Its your responsibility to find time to bring him to the vet and get him the proper care, If you had a child, who was sick... would you not bring him to the hospital if he needed it even if you were "too busy"? If your child died because you refused to take him to the doctors (even though this would not be so serious in a child... you would still need to bring him to the docs) this could kill the reptile pretty fast if not taken care of... they would take you to the judge and you could go to jail (if you child died and you refused to take him to the docs when he was sick)
