How come there is not more mention of this with the ATB's?

The WC ATB that I got last week is about 3-1/2' long displays the typical ATB attitude when I reach in the cage. Once he is out his attitude gets much better, but he lets loose some nasty smelling stuff almost every time I get him out. In all the reading I did, and maybe I didnt do enough, I only came across one mention in a care sheet about ATB's "musking".

Is this a typical of the ATB's?

Oh.. he ate a f/t rat pup the day after he arrived
