Re: burm, or anaconda
I have to agree.Burms and Anaconda's are not "the next step" up from a red tail. You need experience with giant moody snakes before you take on the lifelong responsibility of one.I am not saying anything negative about you or your ability to keep reptiles,I am just suggesting you gain more hands-on experience with giants before you become the owner of one.Have you ever handled a LARGE anaconda or burm? How about when it's feeding day? There are more things than just size and attitudes to think about.Where will you keep a large snake?Where will you get prey items when it's huge? Can you handle the expense?Again,I do not know you and I am not at all being derogatory about you,but please think this through and take a long time to make up your mind, get more experience under your belt.Volunteer at a local zoo or breeder to gain more knowledge on these wonderful giants before taking the plunge into purchasing one.Maybe you could find something a little more challenging than a rtb but a lot less challenging than a burm or anaconda.
