I was 'initiated' today (not the first time I've been a bleeder, but the most recent since I found out about what it is) Surprisingly it was a Velvet Gecko. The three we have in the store just arrived about a week ago, so they are still nippy and 'shy', so I've been working on calming them down a bit. They catch me all the time, but up until today they never broke skin. Somehow today one of them managed to draw blood, I don't even know how it did it but it did. One of the other ones clamped onto my finger and wouldn't let go for almost a min and a half, didn't break the skin but left a Perfect circle impression, it was so cool. I love those things, as a matter of fact, I'm buying two...The one that broke my skin (somehow, he just 'bonded' to me today and after about half an hour of sitting in my hand calmed down completelly and spent most of the rest of the day chilling on my shoulder) and one I haven't seen yet.
