To elaborate:
If you want to be precise, the snake in your pictures is a Boa constrictor imperator of unknown origin.
It might be from Colombia, Panama, El Salvador, or any number of other places.
What it is not is a Boa constrictor constrictor. I think that when you are saying "Red Tail", you are thinking about the BCC's from Suriname, Guyana, Peru, etc. Sadly, since the term "Red Tail" is generic now, many people have started calling BCC's "True Red Tails." This, in my opinion, is every bit as misleading as calling a Colombian a "Red Tail".
