Jesse refused his 2 dead rats. So I decided to give them to garbage mouth Veronica. But she is used to having them dangled in front of her. She is not accustomed to having them served on a plate or newspaper. The results were hilarious:
"I smell a rat. But I don't see it" (striking at the air and the glass)

(flying out of her hide box and striking at the air)
"I know it must be around here somewhere. I'll just strike this adorable S-pose and wait for it to fall from the sky....."

"I know I must be getting warmer. Where is it?"

"Gotta be around here somewhere...."

I watched for 1/2 hour and she couldn't find the rats! Then I went to a friend's house till late at night. When I got home, the rats were gone and this is what I saw:
"I know there's more snacks where those came from. I'll wait here just in case!" (This was about 9 hours later!!!)

And the sight this morning:

STILL WAITING FOR ANOTHER RAT!!!!!!!!!
Pretty freakin' adorable!!!!
The last time I served her rats on a newspaper like this, she couldn't find those either. So I waved a pot holder on that end of the cage to lure her over to where the rats were. Naturally, she came flyin across the cage and grabbed the pot holder and would not let go. That was not a happy feeding event. This time I left her alone. LOL
