Heating Pannels Vs. Heating Lights
Who preferes what and why?
Im starting to lean towards heating pannels on thermostats, because they are cheaper in the long run, and can keep a more stable temperature gradient, and if your animals need UV you could always use florescents during the day to let them get the UVB they need. I hope to convert over once i get some more money. light bulbs can get pricey and if they burn out your cage looses heat. but i do enjoy having my enclosures lit up.
but could i use the pannels for the heating, and use a regular strip light just to light the cage up, for my animals that dont need UV? just to kind of light it up during the day.
