In response to xyzlum's comment, I'd say those size ranges are really on the high end. Unless you're power feeding your snakes, adult male bci's are around 5-7 ft, mostly 5-6 at an adult size. Females are mostly 6-7. male bcc's are around 6-8, mostly 6-7, and females are between 7-10, but mostly 7-8 feet. Yes female bci's can grow to 10 ft but that's kind of rare. And it's also fairly rare for a female bcc to grow past 10 ft.
These sizes are what you're looking at when you buy from a pet store/breeder/or reptile refuge (ie. the choice specimens have been already removed from the litter). And also if you feed the snake one prey item per feeding. Over feeding the boa is unhealthy and you'll find messy stools or regurgitation.
