I always used mineral oil if needed for mites until about a year or so ago. Never had to deal with mites on anything larger than a 6'er till then. Here's the page I have on the mineral oil and mites..]
MITES/MINERAL OILThat's when I started using the PAM. Not the same dealing with a HUGE 10'+ that has mited as a 3-6'er at all. Especially when doing the mineral oil treatment with them. Once I figured out what the PAM and the Sawyers were etc. I switched over to using the Sawyers on habitats of snakes that needed mite treatment.
