What you saw was a post made by jriley trying to start a flame against this site. I edited out his post and also asked him to take the matter into email, pm or the like if he wanted to continue with it. His post btw was in the context of a "direct" attack on this site and admin action[s] which , apparent by his venue of his posting, had/has an issue with. That sort of thing will NOT be tolerated on this site at all. It is against our TOS, not to mention common sense.

Any admin should have done the same in editing that post. It was an admin thing and of no personal venue of action relative to that post edit. Trying to start "flame" on the site is NOT allowed, never has been either. That is why j's post was edited out. His commentary in the thread was of a direct nature to try and start a flame thing and also to downgrade/bash the site as well.
The EXACT wording of the edit was this...

That should have been the end of the "issue" that J seemed to be striving for in his posting on that thread. That is/was the same thing that would have been placed in edit for ANY member of this site by an admin that was trying to stop the attempt at a flame in a post/thread. jriley has no reason to be treated in a different and/or special manner than any other member of this site at all.
By deleting that thread you also deleted the request for members that have the knowledge to promote a tracking program to come forth if there was someone that could do such and was willing to do such for the site. Also the linking for all the tracking programs that were brought forth were lost as well in that action. Guess all that will have to be reposted on site is all now due to the deletion.
BTW..J was the initiator in the flaming.. I was the one/admin that put a stop to it on that thread. If j doesn't want to be edited for such a thing, then possibly he should conform to the TOS is all. There is no valid reasoning as to why he should/would be receiving "preferential" treatment when he tries to do something like start a flame on the site, by any RTB admin. This is NOT the only thread where he has posted in a manner that is not acceptable. It needs to stop at this time please.
