Well... I said that I wanted a monitor in an earlier post.
I went to pick up a breeding pair of normal leopard geckos after work at a friend of mine's work and saw the most pathetic savannah. S/He is skin and bones, mostlikely infected with parasites seeing that it was wild caught.(One of many imports that were shipped through the store) My friend took one look at me and asked if I would take it home, no charge of coarse, so I did.
O.K. So, now I will soak it in a nice warm bath. Make a mice mixture of a high protien food, that is feed to dehabilitated animals (Hills A/D), with pet tinic and mineral. And also bring her/him into work tomorrow to get a fecal done! Then, deworm accordingly. Wow, I also have to do some real hard power reading!
Any advice would be appreciated!!!
I don't want this little guy/girl to suffer the same fate as many of the sick imports that were sent to death in the freezer!
Bye for now!!
Thanks guys!
Kim
P.S. I will get some pictures this weekend!
