I just got this Ball python in for treatment. It has some major burns on half it's body. As you can see in the one pic, the skin is already peeling off leaving exposed meat. I am currently applying tripple anti ointment and keeping it clean. A trip to the vet will be done in the morning. It doesnt look like infection has set in yet but I am sure it's on the way. Hopefully I got it in time to head the infection off. I am gonna keep it in a plastic tote without any substrate so the ointment will stay on longer, and the tote will be cleaned daily.
My question is...
Is there anything else I can do for this poor snake other than keep it clean, keep the triple anti ointment and possible baytril shots(if needed)?
