I agree completely! I think that you should be charged just as if you were assaulting or murdering a human being. Probably then and only then would ignorant people consider not buying an animal they couldn't care for or actually think about how stupid their actions are before they perform them. It's too bad this will never happen and these morons will always be allowed to have animals.
