Ah yes, TFH Publications... abotu all I can say for them is they have some nice pics sometimes. The information that they publish is often very questionable though.
All in all though, the book that you got is an exception for TFH, in that it is pretty decent. Just bear in mind that much of the information it contains is outdated, especially when it comes to classification & scientific names. It is a good atarting point for some research though. The only other TFH books that I'd probably recommend are a select few veterinary texts.
