Ed.. Seems to have quite a bit of strength and also a decent weight/girth too [ In that he is not majorly underweight..his weight is not really a major concern at all from what i am seeing.. have seen worse before many times even]. This snake struggled like mad with three of us needing to hold him "down" while we checked it out. That's a good sign I think. BUT when we put it in the cage afterwards, the snake did not right the back end of it's body too quickly ..UGH. I was thinking that it was due to having exerted a ton of energy while we were checking it over etc and not just health related type thing was all. It did not do this until after we had "tormented" it in checking it out etc and did right itself, but slowly was all.
It has a MAJOR RI going on atm. Soon as I clear the mucous up, it re-appears instantly it seems. The snake was dropped off with no heating supply for it's cage. So I am assuming that it had not been on any type of heat either and that is how it got the dang RI in the first place even...UGH> That seems to be it's problem going on and hopefully we can fix that also.
