I recently inherited a Savannah Monitor through a friend who is a bit of a impulse buyer and realized he was scared #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&less of him and didn't want him. He knows I love all animals and dropped him off one day. I named him Puff. We are buds! He seems to have quite an apetite! and is quite active although I am certain that his encloser is far too small! (Im workin on it!$$$$ Is tight at this moment!) I have been feeding him dusted crickets and mice. He doesen't seem to mind being handled, he likes to sit in my lap and get his neck and head rubbed. thought there was something wrong with his Skin because he started turning an olive green on his head and base of tail, and brighter yellow on his legs and stomache as he was mostly brown when he came to me but now I think its because of shedding???? Im I right? He doesnt seem sick! Ah, my original question, he's about 2 feet long and growing! How old is he??
