If you are having trouble getting your target temps, I have found that using two UTHs and a space heater for the room works quite well (it's what I am doing). You will probably need two large UTHs and of course thermostats. Use the space heater for the room to raise ambient temperature and then control the UTHs from there. The ZooMed style UTHs will work about 10-20 degrees F ABOVE ambient, so if your ambient is low that needs to be addressed first (ie: you won't get 87F warm side temps if your ambient room is 60F). I have also found that using heat lamps sucks the humidity out of the cage, acquariums are tough to maintain humidity in my experience. Good luck!
