WHEW!! Donnie and I made it back to KY without incident. I didn't 'Check Out' since we really didn't have time. We left CA Friday and made it back here last night. The weather was beautiful the whole way and the scenery was awesome!
We drove through Lincoln, CA and waved at SteveP. As we went through UT (and stayed in Salt Lake City) we tried to remember who was there...KolleenJ, et al. We drove through Evanston, WY and waved hello to Kogoz. When we got to Omaha, NE, we stayed at Joltman's house. He and his wife were wonderful hosts (thanks again!!). He even got up in the morning, made us coffee and cooked breakfast. He kicks Denny's butt!!! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
We wish we had much more time to actually stop and visit those whose towns we drove through. Eventually, we will have to return to CA and rent a U-Haul for the rest of my stuff. Maybe then we can take more time since we won't have rats and snakes to transport with us...LMAO.
