Re: another bite...
I know the feeling, although I have never been bit. I have two daughters, one 13yr old, who is deathly afraid of snakes, and an 8 yr old, who loves them. My inlaws act real weird about the snakes -- mother in law views them as the cursed animal and such -- recently my youngest daughter got sick and I did too. My older one (who doesn't handle the snakes) didn't. Right away, they wanted to know if she was washing her hands after holding them and are you doing this, is she handling them before eating, blah, blah, blah...
If any of us does get salenomela (not spelled right) I will never hear the end of it. I am sure after the bite that they are going to have an i told you so attitude for awhile, but take it in stride and love your snake. I am glad to see that your sister seems to be dealing with it okay. And the funny thing is, from things like that which I have been involved in, the person who is hurt gets over it and is okay with it, the problem comes from those who saw it and just can't get over it for some reason.
