Sorry if this was already said in Jules post (A very good one at that!), I read it when it was first posted and can not remember. But the best way IMO to stop biting is pretty much ignore it with most birds. If the biting is not serious, just suck it up. Birds bite for a couple reasons. Some are trying to defend themselfs, some are doing it for attention or a reaction from the owner. some are being territorial. If they are biting for defense some other steps are needed to gain trust before you go right to handling in most cases. If they are biting for attention, don't give it to them and they will stop. If you are in their territory, don't be there lol. (make sure it really is their territory, remember, you want to be the Alpha. Don't let the bird dominate you even once) It's just so hard to say why the bird is biting and what you should do. There are so many different reasons. And it very much depends on the individual bird what should be done....
