hm....i have always heard that its the "musky oils" that ferrets discrete, that makes them so smelly...i didn't mean "urine" or "poopy" smell...i'm talking about the "heady" smell.....that tends to get worse with repeated bathing...(makes the oilglands work overtime)
Ravnos, if you have great ideas on cutting back that musky smell, somehow, please share....[img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] I have always wanted gerbils, but even with scent glands removed...they still smell, and quite a bit more then a cat or dog would.....its that oil they descrete.
I researched the net high and low about that, and have only figured out that you can't really do nothing about that, and that bathing is supposed to make it worse?....of course a clean cage would mean at least no "poopy or urine" smells...[img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
