BTW, 15 years ago, my roommie and I were in the same situation with a cat. She was having her first heat, and we were told to wait until it ended to have her spayed. Well, one day she sneaked out and got pregnant by her "Wicked Uncle Ernie" (we used to call him) who was waiting patiently by the back door. She ended up having her kittens on my bed, and I got to keep one....little black and white one with white cheeks. Destructo has now been by my side for 14 years (on May 1st) and is the love of my life!!!!
