Just make sure that it doesn't get too moist in the substrate for your snake. You wouldn't want any problems like scale rot to get going with him. When you mist the cage...aim for anything other than the substrate with a bci.

Yeah they do like to burrow in the substrate some of them. I have bcc/guyana that love to do that.
