I guess I'll go first. Cheap is on the eye of the beholder. With cheap you mean the least amount of $$$ no matter what? Or the best value for the money?
My first BCI was "cheap". At the show, $75. I adore her and she will always be my #1 girl. Nothing special, no color, het, markings, etc. Still she is THE girl. My son in law got his first also at the show, $65 from the "generic" tank-of-boas. He seems happy with it.
But, at the same show I saw some Surinams that were OUTSTANDING. At $175 they were a great deal (I think), but I didn't take advantage of it.
So far, all of mine are from the show or here on this web site.
