Hello - My 9 year old red tail - which I have had for 3 years will not eat. She has always eaten regularly - every 3 weeks a small rabbit. The boy whom she shares a cage is eating fine. She has not eaten in @ 3 month. Her last rabbit was a little big and @ 5 months ago we treated her for an infection on her nose but she ate three times after the medication. Any Ideas?
Yes they are live rabbits not frozen etc - they both have always eaten this way (9+years)
Nothing has really changed in her cage - pos not as humid as usual but the boy seems ok. Sheds ok – last poop was yucky – sticky (rabbit to big). She looks hungry but will not eat.
