they are pretty much eating machines. Mine took about anything. Cat food is not a good everyday diet, but I did feed it to them every once in a while (makes for HORRIBLE smelling feces). You still need fruit and such int here too. But be sure to read up on care sheets. Great lizard, still one of my favorites.
