Kim i don't think that is unfair at all. i would much rather have a parent come to me yelling "Why Won't you sell to my kid" then you sound incredibly reputatable when you explain yourself. If in doubt I would even go as far as to ask for ID from the minor to prove they are 18 just to further cover you.
