I personally feel since I have started using antibacterial soap I have been sick more often. I also believe washing food bowls with it may have severely damaged my W/C savanna. Though their environments all contain wood from the outside, not cleaned and their cages never get completely washed, just spot cleaned I fear the antibacterial soap may have harmed my savanna monitor.
I feel so silly, I have been against sterilizing wood, and bedding yet I was dumb enough to wash bowls with antibacterial soap. live and learn I guess. My natural like caging maybe the only reason my animals lived this long.
