Sorry if this seems Graphic or cruel of me to post. Don't get me wrong i love this fella. I wasn't sure where to post this,but i wanted people to see what happens when you drop a live food item in with your snake and then leave him be. This is a picture of the boa that has just come into my care.. He is 6.5 feet long and weighs only 5 pds. Hopefully he will poo soon so I can get a sample to the vet and treat for Paristes. He has been to the vet and is now on Baytril shots. I am treating wound with betadine 4times a day and ointment 1per day. He also gets 3cc of pedialyt a day from a dropped but does also drink on his own. I soak him 2 a day too. He has healed a lot,Thanks to the person that had him before me,but still has a long haul too go.. It saddens me, but he has a good mommie now. Will keep ya posted..
