I hate fleas!! and they love me.. my old dog Pizza who passed this last year (13 years!) was a flea magnet and she rooted like an old pig for places to lay in the dirt and stay cool.. (I think she also ate dirt). She liked to be bathed and did not mind me dipping her, putting on Frontline, Sevin dust-baths.. NOTHING would work on her.. she got buried with her fleas.

BTW she was 1/2 Pit bull and 1/2 Rottweiller, a very imposing 100lb brindle colored animal, her neck was larger than her head and no collar would stay on her! Also she was completely loyal and would go at anything she thought was wrong (including three illegals I was tussling with in the yard late one night over my lawnmower). I never saw her use bad judgement. But she was given to me when she was age 13 months when out of nowhere she attacked the little girl who's pet she had been since birth. Luckily no permanent damage done.
