Presumably you have a heat source to each cage, or are you just setting the whole snake room up in one temperature? If seperate heat sources, just adjust the temps in those cages you want to cool them in and leave the rest. Otherwise, I would suggest moving the adults or young animals you don't want to cool to the other room with the babies or something to keep their temps in the normal range. My snake room is relatively warm, but I still keep heat sources with a thermostat on each cage.
