At 450 I think it would take more than 10 minutes to heat the middle for long enough to kill everthing, and if you leave it on by accident you will regret it!! lol, A few months back I was baking mulch at 450, and left it for 4 hours. Needless to say when I remembered it my apartment was FULL of smoke. It never caught fire but it was smoldering pretty good. I'm sure if there was more air in the oven it would have started a fire. pretty scary. -Juggalo
