When my burm was reluctant to eat yesterday I got rather worried because you see, she ALWAYS eats-even during shed. So, I examined both her and the terrarium and realized that the heat lamp isn't providing a large enough basking spot for her fat a--...behind. Anyways, I was wondering if the ceramic coil heaters that use a light socket would be better for this. Rather than going out and buying another heat lamp or uth etc...I would like to know if these are worth buying(not to mention I am reluctant just because they cost about twice as much as a bulb). Until I figure out what appliance to buy I have just put a platform in so that she can get closer to the light.

Also, she did eat later on in the evening, after a nice warm bath.
